The Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, on Wednesday, March 10th, launched the Nigeria Police Force Microfinance Bank Plc mobile banking application developed by Xerde limited, to provide services for both serving and retired Police officers and the general banking public.

Speaking at the brief ceremony held at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, Adamu said that NPF Microfinance Bank Plc was set up to provide financial services such as retail banking, loans, advances, and financial advisory, and other allied services to the men and officers of the Force and the general banking public.

The IGP said that the Microfinance Bank which commenced operation, on May 19, 1993, from a single branch now has a total of 35 branches across the States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja due to its management’s resilience.

The NPF Microfinance bank digital banking platforms (mobile app and internet banking platform) provide users with a seamless banking experience. Users can make bank transfers, open an account in less than 2 minutes, purchase data and airtime, pay for utility bills, access loans and much more…
